Michigan acupuncturist Jill Donberg, M.S., is founder and manager of Grand Traverse Natural Health Care. Educated at the nationally accredited school of Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine, she has a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine. This school's rigorous clinical training, diverse faculty and heavy coursework in Chinese medical language lay a foundation firmly rooted in the East-Asian approach to medicine.
In addition, Jill is board certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is also a member of the Michigan Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAAOM) and the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM).
Jill received her undergraduate education at Washington University in St. Louis, completing the premedical curriculum with a major in Biology and Art History. After two years as an Emergency Medical Technician, she went on to serve two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Russia.
In addition to her practice, Jill has been a student of Vipassana meditation for over seven years. She enjoys spending time with her family in her town of Elk Rapids.
